We've had them pencilled into The Rendezvous Diary since May, so it's been a long wait until the work was freed from examiners and ready to exhibit.
In the week before they were due to hang, we received a phone call to say that the very same students had entered the Windsor Festival Education Programme and won several visual arts accolades. No wonder their Head of Art, Gary Tanner (pictured) looks as pleased as punch!
The students work is all on sale and, as always, 20% of proceeds go to Age Concern Slough & Berkshire East. Several of the Desborough College students will also be taking part in Art on the Street in December too.
