Females appear in most of my paintings after personal experiences of trauma and Ill health going through transition: From brokeness and hopelessness to courage purity and strength. My work has Been a powerful tool for me to express my difficult emotions and comes to terms with things as they are.
I work in mixed media, inks, oil, acrylics charcoal and pencil. I feel compelled to make images using bold marks and bright colours.Painting feeds my soul and calms my mind and connects me closer to my maker
