I began experimenting with equine portraiture in my teenage years and went on to produce pet portraits for friends and family before starting a career at the Land Registry. My artistic abilities were utilized during my work career where I was employed in the production of illustrative plans. I often incorporate my technical drawing skills to depict the muscle structure and movement of the animal. I use an expressional technique with a vivid colour palette and work in Inks, Watercolours, Acrylics and Oils.
After 25 years as Civil Servant I decided to complete my artistic education and obtained a BA (Honours) Fine Art Degree at Bucks New University. I am now a practising full time Artist specialising in Equine Commissions, Equine and Wildlife Art and exhibit regularly in the Greater London Area.
