Sum up your work in a sentence:
After a vist to St David's Cathedral it was such a fantastic building I just wanted to reproduce it on canvas
When and how did you become an artist?
I started painting when I had a young family many years ago. I joined art societies and learnt a lot from other members about composition and technique to try and reproduce on canvas the beauty of the world around us, whether that be buildings or land/seascapes.
Who or what are your inspirations and why?
I am a big fan of Constable. I find his paintings are so full of interest you can spend hours looking at them. All his subjects come to life.
If you could go for a drink with anyone, living or dead, who would it be and why?
That would be William Mulready not the most well known of artists but he did some fantastic paintings.
